The Monsanto Protection Act or HR 993, now forces the USDA to approve any new GMO seeds they may come up with and also prevents any actions against them should those seeds turn out to be harmful. America is now one big GMO experiment with you, me, and our children as the guinea pigs.
Maybe now you realize that the defeat of Prop 37 last year was nothing short of a catastrophic failure. One of two things happened there: 1) Flat out fraud. With electronic voting machines you have no idea what happens to your vote or where it goes because it doesn’t physically exist. Monsanto also had to pull multiple ads due to fraud and misuse of an official seal. 2) The people of California are some of the dumbest on the planet. 2014 is our next chance to get something like this done unless our state legislature can do something on it’s own but considering they’re owned by the same people as the feds, this is doubtful. Both family farmers and food activists are fighting back against the 13 new GMO crops that are currently awaiting USDA approval. GMO salmon from AquaBounty could potentially garner FDA approval in April.

There exist rigid criteria for a serious scientific journal to accept a peer-reviewed paper and to publish it. As well there are strict criteria by which such an article can be withdrawn after publication.
