Mitch McConnell Ping May Drugs dumping under liberi flag Ebola

Ping May

Ebola, SARS,the abuses of crew members and the avoidance of missions of dollars in taxes that are made perfectly legal (if highly immoral) by flying a Liberian “flag of convenience” is yet another more-than-problematic issue against the McConnell-Chao family.Which “coke” is worse to ship via Liberia’s flag?
Is it a worse crime against humanity and the planet to be transporting thousands of tons of “coke” (coal) or 40 KG of “coke” (cocaine) secretly paying campaign contributions for a government take over?

TEXAS CITIES ARE LOSING CONTROL OF FRACKING
The American Spectator
Josiah Neeley

Overall, conservatives in Texas had a very good election night last week. Republicans took all the statewide offices, as indeed they have in every election since 1994, and claimed virtual supermajorities in both the state house and senate. Even a ballot measure on a light rail project in liberal Austin went down to defeat. Yet in the midst of this dominance of common sense came one ominous result. Voters in the city of Denton approved a ballot measure banning all hydraulic fracturing within city limits. While municipalities have banned fracking in states ranging from Colorado to Pennsylvania, Denton represents the first time a city in energy-loving Texas has done so. And unless swift action is taken, it may not be the last. [Full Story]

The Fall of U.S. Fracking?
Wall St Daily
Karim Rahemtulla

The U.S. oil industry has taken a beating from the recent drop in oil prices, which have plunged more than 25% since the summer. Oil and oil service stocks across the board have been bruised… but none more so than those related to the fracking industry. You see, fracking is an expensive process compared to conventional oil extraction techniques – a situation that became grave three weeks ago, when Saudi Arabia decided to try to run U.S. oil out of business by dropping the price of its crude oil. Now, it looks like fracking may be the first casualty in this worldwide oil war. [Full Story]

History
Merchant ships have used false flags http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_convenience as a tactic to evade enemy warships since antiquity, and examples can be found from as early as the Roman era through to the Middle Ages.[19] More recently, this technique was used by the British during the Napoleonic Wars and the United States during the War of 1812.[20] During the mid-19th century, slave ships flew various flags to avoid being searched by British anti-slavery fleets.[21] However, the modern practice of registering ships in foreign countries to gain economic advantage originated in the United States in the era of World War I, and the term “flag of convenience” came into use in the 1950s

The Greater Liberia Act of 1939 would deport 12 million African-Americans to Liberia at federal expense to relieve unemployment. The act failed in Congress, and Garvey lost even more support among the black population.

Do you think that the Greater Liberia Act of 1939 was a good way to help improve the living conditions and opportunities of African Americans? Why or why not?

Foremost Maritime Corporation

Reagan administration officials interceded on behalf of José Bueso Rosa, a Honduran general who was heavily involved with the CIA’s contra operations and faced trial for his role in a massive drug shipment to the United States. In 1984 Bueso and co-conspirators hatched a plan to assassinate Honduran President Roberto Suazo Córdoba; the plot was to be financed with a $40 million cocaine shipment to the United States, which the FBI intercepted in Florida.

A cargo ship connected to Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell was recently stopped and searched before departing from Colombia. During the search, Colombian Coast Guard agents seized roughly 90 pounds of cocaine.

The drugs were found on the Ping May, which is a vessel operated by the Foremost Maritime Corporation, a company owned by Mitch McConnell’s in-laws, the Chao family. This connection is not only relevant because of the family connection, but also because the Chao family has often made large donations to McConnell’s campaigns.

In fact, the Chao family has been funding McConnell since the late 1980s. Years later, in 1993, McConnell married Elaine Chao and secured the Chao family as one of his primary sources for investments.

A gift worth somewhere between 5 and 25 million dollars from the Chao Family made McConnel one of the richest senators in the country in 2008.

The Foremost Maritime Corporation is currently operating 16 dry bulk cargo ships, most of which are currently still in service.

What makes this case even more interesting is that McConnell is well known as a staunch prohibitionist. In 1996, McConnell sponsored “The Enhanced Marijuana Penalties Act”, a bill designed to increase the mandatory minimum sentencing for people caught with marijuana.

Kentucky Gets it’s Weed Seeds Back

Feds release hemp seeds to Kentucky officials.  Is this the end of the drug war?

Hemp has historically been used for rope but has many other uses: clothing and mulch from the fiber; hemp milk and cooking oil from the seeds; and soap and lotions.
